School Prayer

THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
The kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth
As it is in heaven.
Given us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who
Trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
And the power, and the glory,
For ever and ever, Amen.

PLEDGE
India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it. I shall give respect to my parents, teachers and elders and treat everyone with courtesy. To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion, In their well-being And prosperity alone lies my happiness.

PRAYER BEFORE STUDY/CLASS
O God, you are the truth and the origin of all knowledge.
Bless our studies which we consecrate to you.
Enlighten our mind; Strengthen our memories;
And direct our wills towards what is right.
Grant us to seek the truth always and make us truly wise.

PRAYER AFTER STUDY/CLASS
O God, infinite Wisdom and the source of all knowledge,
Grant that we may remember what
We have learnt. We offer you our work and
Endeavors, our failures and success. Forgive
Us our shortcoming and give us the courage
To follow the path of truth.
